Awards for Research in Art Therapy
Research is a vital part of the art therapy community, helping it to become an increasingly effective and sophisticated human care service. While topics cover a wide range of creative, developmental, and/or clinical issues with various populations, all investigations involve the implementation of art in its change and growth promoting uses.
The Hester Katz Memorial Award for Art Therapy Students
This award of $300 was initiated by the AATQ to honour the memory of one of our founding members. This prize is awarded to a student in art therapy for the achievement of high quality written work, which exemplifies the desire for excellence advocated by Ms. Katz and the Association.
Award of Excellence for Art Therapy Research
This $300 award is given in recognition of outstanding research in art therapy.
