Ethics and Standards
The AATQ oversees the practice of its professional members through a code of ethics. The association’s Code of Ethics was established to maintain the highest standards of practice and protect the interests of clients who use the services of an art therapist. It is essential to the AATQ that the public be informed of their rights. Also, the training standards ensure that our association only accepts members who meet the highest standards of training as professional art therapists.
As an association, we are prepared to investigate any questions or concerns regarding potential violations of our ethical code.
